Hello fellow redstoners.

To stimulate forum I suggest people to make "blog" like topics where they write about redstone stuff they are currently working on. The project doesnt need to be finished to be posted. The main thing with this is to document and write about the project from beginning to end. ( You decide how much you want to write about it. ) But you can bring up projects started earlier here to.
Now Im going on to the [HOW TO] part.
When writing about a project there are things you should think about. First you should make your own topic for the project. Then you should write some specific project info. Things like: What does it do? How does it do it? Where is the project placed? ( server or singleplayer? ) Is it all blueprinted or is it a "impulse" (figure it out as you work) made?
is the main questions, but then theres smaller things like: How big is it? how much materials does it use? How long time you spent on the project?
Then theres the more personal info about the project: What do you think of it? Is the project your own idea? Do you have a specific source for inspiration? Do you want help with the project? And so on.
Theese are merely examples, you decide how to make your topic. ( As long as it follows the rules! )
But please keep it structurised and simple. Maby not everyone is as good in redstone as you. If you explain it simply more will understand and you will probably get better feedback.
As you continue your work on the project you can post replies in the topic informing about the current state of the project and changes made since last version.
And remember to credit if players helped you with the project. We dont want people to feel forgotten.
Things like attachemnts like pictures, videos and redstone blueprints are very nice additions. And Remember if you are finished with the project you should post about it. So followers are informed. Maby someone else wants to continue the project.
An example of OP:

Project Name: XXXX
Description: its supposed to _______. It does this by _______(simple explanation) I thought of this idea myself and I made blueprints before building. I made this because:________ and _______ gave me much inspiration. Currently I would like one person to help me build this he should know about ______ to be able to help me.

Advanced Description: The projects work like this _____________( more complex and exstensive version going into details )

Stage of development: XX% finished

Credits: allot, ____, _____

On updates: Some tips is to describe what has changed since last update/OP. How you changed it and what you thought of doing this. You should have a sort of headline declearing the reply is a Update and not part of the discussion the project might have.

Example:

Update
Changes: I have _________ and ________ since last update. _____ Helped me do this. We _________ and _________.
Personal Note: I thought of this change as __________.

Hope you found this topic helpfull. Now feel free to start "blogging" about your project!
